YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE.

(aka How Women Might Miss God)
​This is going to sound hard, but I believe that some people desire to be in bondage or controlled.   To some, to surrendering to bondage or control (Jesus isn’t controlling and domineering) seems to absolve them of the responsibility for their own life. They can fake enjoyment of what's chosen for them or place blame on what they know they should do but allow themselves to be blocked from doing it.

I’m sure we’ve all been in situations in new friendships, family, relationships, church, work, neighbors where one person came off as too “interested” in our life and choices, to the point where they felt like they should make those choices and be the center of our attention.  We’ve all probably stopped answering someone’s call or left or withstood because the control was in opposition to the freedom that God gave us.  (We all get signs from a person.  I got them and fought it quietly.  They realized I don't play that.) 

“So-and-so told me to” or “so-and-so won’t let me” or “so-and-so made me do it”.  These excuses won’t let you get away with your responsibilities to obey God.  The excuses will definitely get you more tied down than you can ever imagine.  Living life free in mind and spirit is a big responsibility, but it’s much better than living it in bondage to other people’s dysfunctions.   Be free!  Jesus would have it no other way.        

​​Don't look for an obstacle to purposely block the way you are supposed to go.  Don't be an obstacle purposely placing yourself in someone's way by way of trying to control them.


Romans 14
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
