Woman, do you ever feel like a dead tree, even though you know God has filled you with living water and knowledge/wisdom that needs to be shared? Well, be encouraged. Do what's necessary to go from feeling like a dead tree to BEING the fruitful, flowering tree that God wants to make you.
When they say, "You are a strong woman." or "You are an independent woman.", are they being insulting? Are they suggesting that weak and dependent is what they expect the norm to be for women? BE THANKFUL! Actions speak louder than words. Demonstrate your thankfulness to God for all He's done for you. Show up and do the best you can (according to God's definition of "best") in: your spiritual life, studying the scriptures, prayer time your marriage, your relationships, for your family, especially for your children, and even for your pets; on your job, your church, in organizations that you join and committed yourself to, finances, taking care of your home, giving to God and to others, honoring your parents, educating yourself in areas of life that apply to you, voting, keeping your community at its best, taking care of your overall health, listening to others that need to be heard and healed, and especially in fulfilling God's specific plan for your area of ministry. Psalm 136:1-3 "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy/steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods, for His mercy/steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his mercy/steadfast love endures forever" KJV & ESV
