Let them kill you...

​There WILL BE TIMES when people will threaten to KILL YOU/WILL TRY TO TAKE YOUR "LIFE", and GOD WILL TELL YOU TO  LET THEM KILL YOU!  God has a better plan for you.

John 19:30 –When Jesus therefore has received the vinegar,
He said, “It Is Finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.

It was part of plan/the process.
His LIFE was not taken from Him.  He GAVE it up!
HE WON!    HE was the VICTOR!

VICTORY means - overcoming an enemy or antagonist
                             - success in a struggle or endeavor against difficulties

Sometimes, during a battle or storm, I HAVE TO ASK GOD what the VICTORY will look like …..so that I don’t miss it.  BECAUSE, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are My ways you ways, SAITH THE LORD”  ISA 55:9.
What I/WE EXPECT the VICTORY to be may not be what God sees as the VICTORY!

Instead of saying, “If is finished”, IF JESUS HAD SAID, “I’VE GOT THE VICTORY!”, SURELY, someone in the crowd would have said, “Man, you  must be crazy! You’re hanging on the cross, beaten, bloody and dying! You DID NOT WIN?!? "  

BUT HE DID WIN! IT WAS IN GOD’S PLAN!
       JESUS  COMES TO EARTH IN THE FLESH
       JESUS DOES GOOD WORKS.
       JESUS SHOWS LOVE TO THE ABUSED AND REJECTED.
       JESUS PROCLAIMS TO BE THE KING.
       JESUS IS CRUCIFIED/KILLED  
               FOR DOING GOOD WORKS
                FOR LOVING THE UNLOVED AND
                FOR PROCLAIMING EXACTLY WHO GOD MADE HIM TO BE!
       IN ORDER TO SAVE A SINNER LIKE YOU AND ME!

Now, we KNOW He wasn’t KILLED.  He GAVE UP LIFE.
- BUT, we will use “KILLED” because they thought they did.

SO, how can we APPLY this to us today?

There WILL BE TIMES when people will threaten to KILL YOU/WILL TRY TO TAKE YOUR "LIFE", and GOD WILL TELL YOU TO  LET THEM KILL YOU/LET GO/GIVE UP YOUR LIFE … BECAUSE HE HAS A BETTER PURPOSE AND PLAN THAT WILL BLESS YOU and OTHERS.

LIFE! THE EXISTENCE OF AN INDIVIDUAL.
             THAT WHICH CAUSES YOU TO THRIVE.
             GOD HAS GIVEN YOU THINGS THAT GIVES YOU LIFE.

I’M NOT talking about children/grandchildren/jobs/money/homes. I’M TALKING about GIFTS, CALLINGS, ASSIGNMENTS - THOSE things that SUSTAIN you and others spiritually, your spiritual LIVELIHOOD THAT GOD gave you to use to WORSHIP and LIFT HIM UP & DRAWS OTHERS to Him ----- the gifts of SINGING, PREACHING, TEACHING, PRAYING, GIVING, PARTICIPATING, HELPING, VISITING, GOING AND DOING FOR GOD.

THERE WILL BE TIMES THAT SOMEONE BLOCKS YOU AND THREATENS TO TAKE  YOUR LIFE, YOUR LIVELIHOOD, YOUR ASSIGNMENT,

IF, no, WHEN GOD SAYS GO THROUGH AND LET GO, DO WHAT HE SAYS. GO THROUGH THE STRUGGLE/THE STORM, FINISH IT AND LET IT GO. LET THEM TAKE IT.  LET THEM HAVE WHAT THEY THREATENED TO TAKE FROM YOU.   LET THEM "KILL" YOU!   GOD HAS SOMETHING BETTER.

FOR THE PAST 7 OR 8 years, I have had people absolutely determined to take my LIFE/STOP ME FROM OPERATING In my GOD-GIVEN ASSIGNMENTS – MY WORSHIP TO GOD/THE LIVELIHOOD THAT GOD GAVE ME.
“YOU CAN’T DO SO-AND-SO FOR GOD UNLESS I SAY SO and I SAY NO.”
YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO DO SO-AND-SO FOR GOD? THEN YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FOR ME, FIRST.”

THE first couple of times, I FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO LIVE /TO CONTINUE TO WALK IN THOSE THINGS THAT GOD GAVE ME TO DO.
 
BUT, THIS LAST TIME, WHEN ONE PARTICULAR THING WAS THREATENED TO BE TAKEN FROM ME,   GOD SAID, LET GO!

AND I DID!  I LET GO of what they THREATENED to take away.  I THEM “KILL” that part of ME ..…. And I WON GOD’S VICTORY!
I HAVE PEACE that I never knew I NEEDED.
I HAVE NO ANGER about the situation.
I HAVE JOY that I thought I ALREADY HAD!
DARE, I SAY THAT I’M HAVING MORE FUN PRAISING AND WORSHIPING GOD NOW THAN ALL THOSE WHO TRIED TO TAKE MY PRAISE AND WORSHIP/MY LIFE.

JESUS GAVE UP HIS LIFE AND IT WAS WORTH IT  !!!!!!!!!!!
 

WHERE are the people that crucified Jesus?
I don’t know, but we’re still living for JESUS today.
HEY, WHERE are the people who exiled JOHN to the ISLE OF PATMOS?
I don’t know, but we’re still studying John and the REVELATIONS he received while THEY THOUGHT THEY had  EXILED him (EXILE – refused permission to return, enforced absence, banishment, expulsion).
GOD WAS RIGHT THERE WITH JOHN.  GOD HAD A BETTER PLAN.

JESUS FINISHED the PLAN. HE GAVE UP THE GHOST because HE knew BETTER WAS COMING!
 
Sometimes, Jesus will tell you to GO THROUGH THE BATTLE/THE STORM, FINISH HIS plan, let go, let them “kill” you!  YOU WILL be the VICTOR…BECAUSE JESUS HAS A BETTER PLAN FOR YOU.
