Woman, do you ever feel like a dead tree, even though you know God has filled you with living water and knowledge/wisdom that needs to be shared? Well, be encouraged. Do what's necessary to go from feeling like a dead tree to BEing/sharing the fruitful, flowering tree that God has made you and wants to contiue to make you.

When the mess is so messy that even God says "RUN!", it's still a decision to be deeply pondered before you make a move. "Be Strong and of good courage...for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 I truly believe this. He’s there to tell you how to handle yourself while you are there, how to not handle yourself, how to fight, how to wait, how to learn and what to not learn. He’s also there to tell you when to stay , go forward, mark time or get the heck out of there and even HOW to get the heck out of there. Even when there is no mess, but you have to move - because of a job, new home, a call, because God said so - the questions will come. How will I tell the kids they have to leave their youth group or choir? Will the kids like the new Youth Department? Will they make new friends? What will I tell the unbeliever who already has trust issues with churches or leaders? Who is going to get Mom or Dad there, if they chose to stay and tough it out when I chose to leave? Where else will I go? How long will I observe before I join and dive in? Will I even care to dive in? Will it be worth the move? Do I want my kids to become what the leaders project/feed to the followers? There will be and should be some questions. When God says "go", then "go". God will lead you. It will be worth the move. Now, GO! (Matthew 28:19-20) Comment with your story. Feel free to use a nickname for anonymity.
