Woman, do you ever feel like a dead tree, even though you know God has filled you with living water and knowledge/wisdom that needs to be shared? Well, be encouraged. Do what's necessary to go from feeling like a dead tree to BEing/sharing the fruitful, flowering tree that God has made you and wants to contiue to make you.

![]() If you falter What did God say? Of course, there is a time of preparation for everything God sends us to do. Do not let people have you sitting at home twiddling your thumbs, quenching the spirit, not doing what God told you to do because people have told you to not GO. Those same people who are telling you to not GO because they don't believe God told you, are out there every day, evening, or weekend doing what God told them to do, while you are sitting at home doing nothing because they said so. As soon as you know what God called you to do, begin asking Him how, when and where and to send people who will encourage you rather than sit on you. God is wise enough to know what He is doing in you and how to send, prove, guide, applaud and correct you. God is doing the same things for the people who are telling you that you can't. God uses toddlers to sing songs of encouragement to other people. He knows how to give you assignments that are equal to your ability/faith and that He trusts you will follow His lead in while you are carrying out the assignment. The person who is telling you to not go started somewhere, but they may expect you to be perfect before you go, when they were not perfect when they started out...and never will be perfect. If the truth be told, you have already been operating in your calling since you were a toddler. Other people told that you were. You knew yourself. But, once you decided to "announce" it, or join a particular group that also has the same calling, then suddenly, the naysayers show up. Yes, I said naysayers - even the ones who have higher callings, education, jobs, and titles that you do, none of which make them absolutely right about everything concerning you or themselves. Someone came along and said, "You can't do that anymore until I think you should do it." We've know similar experiences to happen before. In different parts of the world, someone showed up on already-inhabited land and decided to take it over, by either charging the indigenous people to continue to live there or by using violence or control to take over the land and lives of the inhabitants. Same thing. You were going along fine, then someone over you, who thought God gave them ALL authority over controlling your life, decided that you couldn't do God's work anymore - the work you had been doing since you were big enough to do it. When you falter, God will be there to help you, along with adding knowledge, wisdom and directions. If you misuse your gift or call, God is big enough to make sure you are corrected. Jeremiah 2:18-20 tells the rebellious that one's own wickedness will correct them. Yes, you may be "new" at it, in the sense that people around you are just now discovering your calling, but everyone has to start somewhere. The operative word in that sentence is START! In Matthew 28:19, the operative word is Go. Now, GO! Comment with your story. Feel free to use a nickname for anonymity.
