Woman, do you ever feel like a dead tree, even though you know God has filled you with living water and knowledge/wisdom that needs to be shared? Well, be encouraged. Do what's necessary to go from feeling like a dead tree to BEing/sharing the fruitful, flowering tree that God has made you and wants to contiue to make you.

![]() Do you imagine yourself with a name badge that should put you in the circle, but your outside of it trying to wedge through an opening to get in to fit in where you are "supposed" to be? You have the invitation (although, apparently not sincere). You have the name badge. You have the time and location. But, you aren't allowed "IN". Are you trying to fit in where, outwardly, it seems that you should, but inwardly, you don’t? On the internet, there is a picture of a bulb of garlic with a section of an orange fitting “perfectly” into one of the empty sections on the garlic clove. It "fits", (by shape and size), but it doesn't f-i-t because it's not the same kind of food. The quote is "Just because you fit in doesn't mean you belong ~ Mary Dice.” Just because some aspects of a situation cause you to "fit", that doesn't mean that you are supposed to "f-i-t". David was one of several brothers, but physically and spiritually, he was different/didn't "fit", according to looks and faith. He wasn’t the same size and build and had a different level of faith than his brothers. Moses was raised by the Egyptian Pharaoh, but he wasn’t family. He should have "fit" because he was "family", but he wasn't the same and was chosen for a completely different purpose in life! Are you married but he includes everyone in his life except you and people wonder why you have no idea what's going on because they don't know that you are purposely being excluded? Are you a child, but the parent excludes you in family matters? So, you're in the family, but not included. How does that look? How does that feel? Are you a leader in a ministry/organization but you're excluded from decision-making, meetings and other important gatherings? People expect you to answer their questions, but you don't have any answers because you are not "in" the circle that you are in or technically a part of? Strange, right. Awkward. How did David end up out in the field tending sheep? Was he sent away - out into the fields because he didn't look like everyone else? I wonder how Deborah was treated by other women. She didn't seem to act like the typical woman back then. Joseph was a brother but he didn't fit. I didn't fit in situations that I "should have", and it worked for my good. Be honest about the situation and take it to God for direction. Yes, you will look odd because you aren't fitting where you are "supposed" to and those on the outside looking in may not realize that you are not being allowed to fit. No matter what it looks like, be strong, obey God and allow Him to place you where you truly f-i-t. Don't look back. Don't apologize. Don't doubt. God where God has told you that you truly f-i-t. Your faith and work will be bless others. (TPM) Now, GO! (Matthew 28:19-20) Comment with your story. Feel free to use a nickname for anonymity.
