![]() There are denominations that tout the man leading praise, worship, prayer and bible study in the church and in the home/family. Fine, but where does that leave the women who are not married and not living with their Dads? When women do not have all the components the church claims that they need to please God, then that may leave some confused, feeling worthless, or less loved and less heard by the Lord. If women still have to go through the husband to get to God, then what was Jesus sent for? Matthew 27: 50 "Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God." When you give your life to Christ, and you can do that without having to go through a male figure, then you are equal to everyone else who has given their life to Christ. You are equal to everyone else in that church. Don’t be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. You are free to go to God for yourself, married or not, and God does not reject your attention if it’s not presented to Him through a male. Single ladies, don’t rush to get a ring on it because someone has implied that you can’t be wholly – wholly ( ) – saved and in touch with God without a man in your life. It just ain’t so.
